The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

I had the 35mm 1.4 distagon on the Canon for a while, manual focus only - loved that lens, even though it was a PITA to use.

So I'm pretty chuffed it's available in AF for the Sony,

I had to go back and look at some to confirm.. yes I .. it's the "best lens Iv ever used." *

Looks good, Ive opted for both the Samyang and CZ (for now), really hope I get a decent CZ or its not worth keeping, the Samyang looks a very good lens but the CZ OOF is just so smoooooooth. To my eyes this lens has the most pop in the FE lineup, just beautiful.

Good luck with the CZ, I have no idea whether mine is good or not.

@dancook do you have any of the thinktank retrospective bags? If so....could you put in 1 body, your 35/50 and 85 and show me how it fits? With the camera already with one of the lens attached.

Cheers.

I got the black because I like the purple inside :Dand i do like the black outside ofc

next to each other, I couldn't find a way to get the strap to hang nicely on the ONA so I pushed it inside - and it looks so weird...

Wotancraft Ryker vs ONA Brixton by dancook1982, on Flickr

The ONA is too big, normally I just travel with just 1 single body on any day out with 1 lens, even for an entire holiday. When I am not using the camera I put it inside my messenger bag (13" MPB size, minus the laptop inside). Which is oversized for what it is really so the Ryker is the right size because even if I don't store a second lens I normally carry things like a portable battery, wallet, passport, keys etc.

Brown for me I think, I have never had a black leather bag. Plus I like the contrast between the light and dark brown accents.

My Mrs bag cost more than all my bloody camera bags lol
Yep they can be expensive. I think my wife’s cost more than all my camera accessories and more

Stop it.

My Mrs bag cost more than all my bloody camera bags lol

My Mrs gave a bag away to a family friends little school girl, Mrs didn't realise what it was. I was astonished and told her but she didn't care :D

PS.
Those Wotancraft bags look lovely.

£300 seems very reasonable, I thought they were more than that.

For a loooong time I've been toying with the idea of having a bag made from leather jackets. Years ago when I got my first open car I used to wear one and I collected a few which I still have. They're waaay out of fashion now but one or two are of sentimental value so I had the idea of having a bag made to give them some use. I might get around to it one day.

My camera and a 35mm lens :D
