Probably because u used an old Osx version.Pretty sure I updated my a7iii before on Mac and a7ii
U see. 2 months is long time. Look how much has happened between then hehe. Top off the year with a surface deviceand a 24GM in the same month.
and iPhone XR
and went to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Lisbon and then Vienna

You can but it doesn't work most of the timeSo are you saying we can no longer update firmware with Mac
FE28 is small, sharp but suffers from a lot of distortion easily corrected in software. AF is fast and accurate for both stills and video.
Sigma is anything but small and its sharp. The AF sucks for video but good and accurate for stills. Its a DSLR lens bodged up to make it work for mirrorless and it shows.
No its not (to both)
The 28mm is in my experience the worst lens I've used on mirrorless. Soft and just terrible distortion, though I used it on an A7R2 at the time
The Sigma 35 is a universe apart from it. I've shot some spectacular video footage on it too, once it grabs a subject it can track very handily video AF wise. Most videographers using Sony use manual focus btw lol
The Sigma 35 is probably the lens I've used most in the last 10 year's. Owned it across Canon and Nikon and the Sony variant is the best edition of it by a mile and doesn't need AF microadjust lol

Do any lenses need micro adjusting on a mirror-less?

Downloading raw files on to it should be fine but wouldn't dare editing them on it lolOn the subject of the Surface Go, how does it cope with the 42mp files, been tempted to get one for travel to download raw files from my A7R2

Just in case someone hasn't see these at the rumor site...

And...
Sony 24mm f1.4 reviews...

I think people here have it so they'll know how good it is but the rest of use who are too poor or too tight can at least read the reviews
It is probably the awesomest f1.4 AF lens I have used
Stop it.
I have been thinking about getting a 24mm but for the amount of times I use the ones I have I think the cheapo Samyangy thingy would be enough and I do like the more compact kit. I have been trying to limit the number of native lenses I have just in case I fancy something else later but if I keep buying I'll just have to deal with it

This lens isn't exactly big especially for a f1.4. one of the reasons it's so awesome. Only slightly bigger than the FE85/1.8
It could buy you like 30 lenses
oh?
It's sometime difficult to judge how big these lenses are as in the pictures on line they all look big. Just a bit bigger than the 55mm would be ok for the f1.4. One thing I've always wanted to do is go on a cruise to see the northern lights and a wide f1.4 would be nice for that. I might give it some thought but at the moment a cruise is just a dream, not because I can't afford it but because it's difficult to get cover for a holiday, so difficult in fact that all the stress and hassle spoils the holiday.
Anyone had any luck with Nikon G adapters on the Sony A7iii body? Come to the realisation that I won't be able to afford a load of new lenses. I know there are the Commlite and K&F Concept ones out there but would like some genuine reviews!
It is so small and light honestly the first impression when i opened the box was "is this it? Where is the rest of it? Did I get ripped off because it feels like it is missing some glass inside the barrel."
I never take pictures of this kind of thing, but struck me as a mono. Don't mind the converging verticals either.
SameWorks for me.
Thanks.
If I do look at getting something like this it might be between this and the Tokina Firin.
I had thoughts about the MF FiRIN 20mm.... I think the CV21/3.5E is winning though.
