The best HDR book?

Hey, I have just bought this from amazon
Its was given 8/10 in a recent review in digital photography magazine, I have had a quick flick and looks pretty good however haven't had a chance to get stuck in.

cheers

Wait :) I have 3 chapters left to write on mine. Thats assuming you can wait as the eta is Jun 09. Practical HDRI is meant to be good. Theres one by an American somewhere too which looks ok. I've been meaning to read them both but I haven't had the time.

I messaged you the other day about yours mate but you never replied :'( Ill definately be buying yours aswell because I love your work.

im going to get the practical HDRI book because i will be somewere in the caribean when yours comes out but if its sold internationally ill be sure to grab a copy. I think ive read your tutorial about 20 times and been on it twice as much to show friends how amazing the row of examples you have are... :D

Its being published by an American company and will be available world wide.

Hi  Im a newbie here so the last thing I would like to do is ruin your future book sales petemc, but have you tried Google lukewoodford, there are loads of tutorials out there and they are all free, also try youtube, they have quite a few video tutorials.

I should add something about people offering cheerleaders as payment for reading it ;)

Pete - have you thought about adding a Google Adsense box to that page. If its ranked highly by Google, you must get a lot of visitors and you may earn quite a bit of extra cash from the adverts. ?

I can understand the reasons not to do so as well...

I have thought about it. I don't really want to add ads to my site but maybe just that page as it gets a huge % of traffic. No1 for "hdr guide" or "hdr tutorial". 1st page for "hdr". Its something for the new year to think about.

Surely you should write to photomatix, and ask for commission!

I'm sure a lot of people have bought the software (And not 'aquired it') after reading the tutorial.

Im one of them.

Pete just sign up for google adsense. Its free and easy. You might aswell make money from the traffic.

Forget all about processing your RAW files. Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson teaches you how to take digital black and white photos without the need for processing, all directly in camera with no use of picture styles. Sharpen in camera too! Who needs filters? Its all about the exposure. No, perhaps not :p
