I am always puzzled about the reports in various forms about batteries expanding.

I have never experienced it with any - and I mix third party and OEM.

But ... I never charge in camera.

I have several older third party batteries that have expanded (bulged), never had it with a Fujifilm battery.

I had it once (recently) with a third party A7 battery. And I had third party batteries since my 5D2 in 2013!

I've had two swell up on me (white ones. Can't remember the make) from my t2- H1 days. Fortunately it happened in the charger, but had to get pliers on one of them. Never again will I use third party batteries.
