At least you’ve now got a portable stool to sit on!!

It’s a lens that’s been coming across my radar (for the same motorsport purposes), enjoy it and we all look forward to seeing the results

No pressure then :) I'm looking forward to the results too. Nots sure I'm looking forward to the upper body work out to get there!

It's a heavy beast alright, should be worth it though.

We were enjoying coffee and cake at the Serpentine Lido cafe and got mobbed by the local starling population, I took a few photos of them but lost interest placing my X-T4 on the table in front of me. One of the little reprobates came and stood on the table for long enough that I could turn on the camera and press the shutter release, all unsighted as the rear screen was folded away.
After a slight crop...

Lucky or what?

Edit: It was the 18 -55 lens at 18mm.

Well its rare that I experiment with photoshop, but @snerkler got me thinking, with his radial blur shot......its definitely a bit marmite

and the original here (panning near head on cars with shallow (ish) DOF, a new experiment for me)

Nice, I do think I prefer the original too though. I think maybe the transition of the blur is too abrupt?

Yes, I think Toby might have nailed it. I was just looking at a similar shot I did (with much smaller cars, and by manually zooming rather than Photoshop), and virtually none of it is blur-free:

Been ages since I posted on here. So here 3 from a couple of stops in Henley on the way to pick up my wife from Heathrow.

All great photos but love this one. Lots of time spent on the river there in my fitter days!

"Find relief from stress" could be the wine shop's sales pitch.

I popped over to Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Saturday to see if I could catch the planes for the Trooping of the Colour flypast. I saw (and shot) everything, but most of the shots were highly underwhelming; I think it was a combination of heat haze and being out of practice at panning. This is about the best of the bunch, but I can see it's not brilliant. X-T4 and XF 100-400mm, 1/640sec, F/8 ISO 160:
