Yes, I changed my mind!

Started as a personal thread, and given the good goings of
an other thread I created as a communal thread on Swans…

Well why not one on this very elegant wader.

If you shot a little white Egret, whenever, just post and share
it here. I'd love it! CU…

Good documentary shots Daniel, last one stands out the best to me just because of the leg and body position (y).............but if it was back lit as it looks, that water is still too dark!! :p ;) :)

That's the conséquence of having no
clouds in the sky… nothing's more bo-
ring than a blue sky!

Stunning images of this beautiful bird! I lke all three but the first kept me going back for another look.
Never seen this bird before so must do some research on google to see if they ever come to Ayrshire. :)

Thanks Cathy. :)

Indeed, the first is most revealing. It shows, though
minimally, the very fine structure of some feathers…
much finer then those of the swans for example.

… AND A SECOND ONE FROM THE GENTLEMAN
over in Fareham, Hampshire.

WHERE WILL THE NEXT COME FROM?

One from a while ago at Slimbridge when I was first getting into wildlife photography. I remember it couldn't have been long before this was taken when I was at Slimbridge and someone was getting very excited about seeing a little egret. Not so exciting for me as I had been seeing them regularly in Portugal, but at the time it was fairly unusual to see one in SW England. Now they breed just a few miles from my house, great white egrets are starting to become commonplace and we're seeing a few cattle egrets too.

…and with this third contribution from the SW, this thread
has officially reached the status of COMMUNAL.

Cool take, thanks Janny! :)

Oooops… wrong thread! o_O
