Visited this site today, it's run by the BBOWT and I believe was formally an RSPB site.

I have to say that it really is a great place to visit and resulting in my first sighting of a pair of Grey Wagtails - And what a joy that was. Also saw Pied Flycatchers, Blackcap and a number of other regular other birds. What really struck me was the amount of Birdsong, especially as we didn't get there until 12.00.

The only downside is that the reeds have grown so high in front of the bird hide you could only listen to the wildlife :(. However, the coffee at the on site cafe wasn't bad ;)

If you have never visited the site I recommend a trip, it's just off the A4. A bit too commercial and busy for some, but by the time you walk away from the main lake it's nice and quiet.
