I'd rather avoid 'water' with a pH of over 10!
Lemon juice pH 2 or 3 isn't a problem in moderate quantities, but I can't think of any edibles with a pH higher than backing soda - which is ~9.5.

I don't think the second from last particularly appeals either, but I guess it might be the most effective!
