Could be so many things... an insulator of a kind? A filter?

Or a resonans damper for... something?

Are you one of the vaping lot? My guess is a juice tank from an e-cig.

Can you give us any clues yet Heather? Is it something in the house?

Part of a milking machine?

Is it an insulator on a high voltage leccy line? You know one of them up the pylon jobbies?

The mantle of responsibility for keeping you TPers away from doing useful things and I accept the honour with due humility blah blah blah:)
Well, since I'm a new boy, I'll make it an easy one, I mean, I could give you a cropped shot of a John Deere Turbo Encabulator and you'd never get it:)

Here it is..................................................

I'm off to Rugby for the Beer fest at the Merchants now so don't expect any (coherent) replies tonight.

Good luck(y)

Damn, I thought I'd out-fox you with that.
However, although the colour's right and it does bare(bear?) a remarkable resemblance to afore said Turbo Encabulator, you know what I'm going to say, No. Not that.

Now I really am going, see y'all tomoz.

Sorry Heather, no flies on you but no fly box, this.

I should just have added high voltage to my insulator guess then!

Anyway, next shot! :D

Could be a light meter?

I thought you were going out?

Sorry Jan, but you had 3 guesses at once and I didn't want to give too much away! :crying:

 Don't worry!

It's just the little, whiny boy inside me being a poor player! :D

And most of the time, I prefer guessing wrong, knowing I otherwise will have to come up with a picture... :puke:

Sorry for my absence guys n gals, had a meeting with nice lady from the NFU.

I obviously should have thought about putting a piece of photographic kit on a forum called TP:bonk:
Well done Jan you got it, so over to you for the next installment.
There's a bonus point though if anyone can ID the light meter from the pic you've already got.
I'll post the full frame shot in the P.M.
