Pretty much all garden tools can now be had with batteries. Maybe not rotovators but hedge trimmers, lawn mowers etc. are available.

Not a pencil case but it is folded for storage/transport.

Nope. The item is completely self contained and needs no other equipment. While it's NOT necessarily used in photography, it does live in my camera bag and can be used in a photographic context...
