Things just dropped into conversation

So usually my wife drops into the conversation that she's bought new clothes etc.

Last night, whilst discussing what to do at the weekend and suggesting Slimbridge, she dropped into the conversation that one of her staff who lives no more than 2 miles from me, watches kingfishers in the local stream/river from her kitchen window.

Just dropped into the conversation. She hadn't thought to mention it before :nono:

I guess that needs investigating.

Will the employee let you visit!

I mentioned to my Husband the other day that I had just seen on the news about the floods around Hastings - if I had known about it earlier I would have gone down there to get some pictures. He announced that he knew all about it as he had had to go a different route that morning as the roads he wanted to go down were under water. A phone call would have been nice !!

Got her address now. Her back garden overlooks a small lake/large pond so I guess it's there. Somewhere to cycle tomorrow.
