Any ideas?!

Got a remote release, macro lens, normal lenses and a dedicated flash with bonnet (diffuser but looks like a shower cap to me...)

Also got several cats that could be involved. Not very active though so in air acrobatics capture is probably unlikely.

i was like this the other day so set up monopoly and took some close ups haha

then i was looking round the house for things to snap lol

Hoovering, washing, polishing :D

Water drops on cd sounds good.

Quite fancy recreating the pink floyd DSOTM album cover but I don't have a prism. Do have an LED torch and some black felty stuff. Wondering what I can use to create light patterns with.

Have a look in the macro section loads of ideas in there.
Water drops,
Water and oil,
Water on CD's
Flower/Candle flame close up's
Close up of your cat's eye etc.

Have played around with a bottle of water, led torch and black cloth. Wasted 20 minutes. Will probably all be awful but you learn best from mistakes I always think... good excuse for taking pants pics anyway :)

Might retry the dripping tap tomorrow when there's some good day light as today's efforts weren't very good.

Not having sophistacated equipment I can only experiment.

An idea that I have is to put the camera on 8 sec exposure and using a spare camera (For the flash, only), flash two objects separately, one in front of t'other and perhaps on a differnt plane and with a black backcloth.

Some subtle coloured under-lighting might be good too provided one of the objects was glass i,e, a bottle/vase, but I would need to try to engineer that bit.

Does this have merit?

Has it been done before?

Can't get round to it at the mo as I am still recovering from a rotten flu type virus and I cant concentrate, but would love to see someone else's attempts at something like that.

It might work. Lit underneath through some kind of glass with a black back drop might be interesting.

I was thinking about trying to do something with throwing something in the air and trying to capture it mid flight with a bit of flash or waving my torch around. Need to find the flash compensation option buried away as it is on whatever the default is and it is far, far too bright. Will require hand eye coordination so will probably end up with 300 shots of nothing....
