This flickr account is worth a look!

I must admit it's very marmite!! & i love marmite :D

Ooooooooh, far too fine art for my liking. Obviously put some work into them though, but not my thing.....

I do sometimes wonder if people adopt these weird effects just to hide the fact that the underlying image isn't very good

I'll get my coat

A reminder that we don't encourage commenting on a photographers work when they aren't around to comment themselves.

I actually kinda like some of that work in there. It's a bit crazy at times but there is some interesting use of textures. Not sure about the lens baby style blur effects on some of the images though.

I'm not sure what the issue is about not being able to comment on someones work when they're not here to comment. Why would that be an issue? I'd love people to be linking to my work and commenting on it whether negative or positive. People don't put their images on social networking sites and have them set to public for them to be hidden away. They'll soon find this thread.

Sorry, but some of those images are rather creepy.

Almost like pics of dead people or ghosts. I'll pass.

It's an interesting effect. I don't mind it at all.
OP, Are you going to have a go??

How on earth do you achive them affects, not my cup of tea I must admit, but very arty all the same

I find myself strangely drawn to some of these images, creepy as has been said and some remind me of that Donald Sutherland movie from the 70's, "don't look now" i think it was called......i don't know why but they do.

Some of them are really cool, like the cherry tree, others are a bit OTT. Very much coffee table though.
