Well, that's not really bad mate.
Last year my ex went to her annual trip with her parents. This year her brother decided to come along. it was a 2 week trip going to Dubai, Malaisia, Singapure. Her father asked me what kind of camera he should buy from there, and, considering his needs, i told him to get the Canon S5 IS, which he did. On the second week, the brother was fiddling with the camera, which his father had put in Greek menus, and he sees an option saying "diamorfosis", which in greek it means a complete change. Curiusly enough, he presses the button. What he didn't know is that the smart guys in canon used an english-greek dictionary, and when they tried to find the greek word for "format", they used this ambiguous one!
Needless to say, almost 4GB worth of jpegs were lost, and I receive a phonecall from the jungle in Malaisia. I told them to take the SD out of the camera, put it somewhere safe and buy a new one for the rest of the trip. i did manage to save 99% of the photos when they came back, but the father looked 10 years older than he did before leaving for the trip......and the brother has never be seen nor heard from since.
