Hi

I have my own home studio and like to do portrait / model shots - not for money, just for fun. Having done family shots I now find it hard to get models, and I suspect that other members on here have the same problem. I don't know if this has been discussed before, but how about a thread where members can offer their services as both models and photographers - so members could meet up and photograph each other ?

I thought maybe people could add their details like this :

Location : Berkshire
Has studio : Yes
Sex : Male
Willing to be : Model and Photographer

Good / Bad idea ?
 
Why not ask your friends or friends of friends:)
Make a group on facebook saying something about photoshoot...invite all of your friends and then if they accept their friends will see it as well...I bet you some of them know lovely looking girls :D ask them to send you a photo or 2 of them...pick few best looking and there you go :)
Im sure they will be happy to pose for you in exchange for their excellent pictures you will make :)
 
I think its been done, but there are loads of models out there that want to to TFP of TFCD work, try starnow or netmodel I know that others use different sites, but on my firts starnow request, I got 75 offers of models willing to travel...

But my thinking was if two photographers meet and photograph each other there are a few benefits :

1. You get some pictures done of yourself
2. You get to take some pictures
3. You can bounce ideas and learn off each other.

Oh well, maybe it was a bad idea :(

I like the idea! The only problem is, I am no where near you....and I'm sure you prefer your lenses uncracked :lol:

I hope something comes up for you though! :)
