I'm heading down to the New Forest next month for a few days and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for some good photo locations.

Thanks

Definitely recommend Burley as well, great walks around there with lots of nice scenery. The village is also nice, with the witch shop probably worth checking out.

Your not far from Christchurch in Dorset , The Priory is well worth a visit.

Forgot to mention Hurst Castle, a bit of a drive but definitely worth a visit, its an amazing place and a must for taking photographs.

A friend recommended Hurst Castle, it's pretty close to where we are staying so that's definitely on the list of must dos.

Also have a look on google earth for 'out of the way' locations and 'treats'. link that with the 'photographers ephemeris' and you might have the makings of a little gem :)

Oh and whilst I'm on a roll ( :D ) ...

If you're going out to Hurst castle, walk out there and then take the ferry back (about £2), it gives you some different angles and also the chance to get some great boat/detail shots coming back through the dunes and into the harbour.
