Nice one G! What a great character.

at chattam dockyard the old ropeworks...
this fellow is the tour guide in the works...and what a great source of information and interesting too
i have the colour one obviously but the lighting is flat and i thought b>w and tinted would do the trick
a mine of information...and let us walk the 1/4 mile building where they made the ropes in the early 17th century
i really didnt know there was soooo much to making ropes and every one had a 'copyright' thread through every strand of every rope...
well worth a visit if one is in the maidstone..or even greater kent area...
they do a great fish and chips as well
cheers

Excellent shot- really expresses an impression of the subjects character, his nature and the special quality of the moment.

Chatham (not chattam...sorry) Historic Dockyard is a great place to visit. I pass it daily on my way to and from work and have been a few times now.
I like the overall feel of your shot, but I don't care for the colour tone.
