Too many ideas for shots?

I keep having ideas for shots and keep seeing others photos that give me more ideas to develop and I really don't have time to actually work on them all! So I'm taking them all one at a time :) I keep a small book with me that I write down the ideas, with sketches etc .... Does anyone else struggle to keep up with the ideas? or on the other hand do you struggle for ideas?
 
I am the opposite to you and really struggle for ideas, not only do I stuggle for ideas I also have no time.

I used to make notes on my iphone every time I thought of a good idea for a pic, but again just didnt have the time to work through them all. At the moment I'm struggling to find time to take pics of anything and it's peeing me off no end! I have half a dozen ideas for a christmas card image and at this rate we'll end up buying some crap with a donkey on it from Asda!
 
Keeping a notebook of ideas, especially with sketches, is a really good thing. You can use the ideas when you want them and even modify them to incorporate with other ideas.
 
I struggle with the creative side of things when thinking of good pictures and if I think something will work really well I don't have a lot of time to go out and do it :(

The notebook idea sounds brilliant though, would definately say stick with it if its working for you
 
I have idea's...... but really crazy 'out there' ideas. I have the time, I have the knowledge but working 9-5 is a real bummer, dark everywhere by the time I finish work and I'm usually busy on weekends through the day.

It's a GOOD JOB that I enjoy night photography :lol:

good work..i dont get many ideas and go for the situation to motivate me
consequently i take very little and then not well
like many amateurs i tend to take record shots and then try to do something with them..sort of just processed archival shots
family of course take priority
