Just had a real shock! I looked on eBay for Fujica ST605s, I was curious how much mine was worth. In the UK there was a listing for £5 buy it now. A listing in the US listed it at £60! Why is this?

best to search completed listings for a more accurate idea of price , people can list BIN for whatever they want but it doesn't mean they'll sell

Suppose so, seemed insane.

Last time I looked the ST605s were selling for 15-20 quid...was a surprise to them at £5 now, although there was only 1 listed.

How much was the postage? Was it inflated to bump up the seller's return perhaps?

Have a look in some of the American 35mm forums. there seems to be a much greater following of older 35mm there and they do rate this camera.
look in the Nikon 35mm forums and there's yards and yards of it.

I just bought a 605N for £5, not a bin, generally they've been going for £15-£20.
There is no accounting for condition though, if its mint and in perfect working order, £60 doesn't seem like a lot.
For £5, your tossing a coin to some extent..:)
