okedokee... arrived, 15 mins later return processed.. BUT it does have some good points and I will say its is a decent purchase for premium compact/smaller csc users.
padded bag is of very VERY good quality for such an item and I have no doubt it would protect the tripod well.... comes with a velcro and carabiner camera bag/strap attachment to carry you tripod, this was a nice addition..
the tripod, feels very good for the money, monopod attachment great, hook on centre column great, ball head surprisingly good not much friction needed to keep it secure and all seemed smooth, the plate has a strange oddity where the little d ring attached to the screw does not fold flat in all situations so some might need to removed and use a 1p or screwdriver to attach plate to camera; legs again very decent for the money clips seemed adequate for the job and felt pretty secure, it is all quite light so a bit of weight when hanging from hook would be desirable when out in the wind and not constantly holding the tripod... so onto the centre column which is where it goes downhill, it iis just a big let down, having a 2 stage centre column has let it down, it just doest feel stable enough and certainly not its suggested 8kg, 2, 3, 4 at the very most but no way 8kg... now I didn't want it for pro weight but the centre column has put me well off and without that it is just too low.
it is nice and compact though, shame it fails on such an important element.
