you start with simple water drops, search it on here, lots of results.

however, some of those I would imagine are computer generated, it'll either be 100% photoshop, a 3d program of lots of water drop shots manipulated and put together.

Someone on here did some very good ones with milk i believe

I dont think those pictures came out of a camera. Read the link to see how it's done in C4D.

Yes all the liquid is shot with a camera, then a composite image is constructed from captured liquid and then shape and form manipulated in photoshop. The basic shapes however are created by hand, take a look at the Google logo they did

Not surprised, they have cut a bit of a niche, but with some experimentation anyone with vision can achieve the same effect
