Trying to say goodbye. nothing personal its been 12 months since i last loged on and i have forgot my password and email address as i have used so many in the past.some may remember me as pjm i change my user name last xmas to paulmac,anyway getting to the point i am trying to get my details and name off google for personal reasons.if you tpye in my name its comes to this site i have manage to cancel all my other accounts and this is the last one So i need to log in to cancel my account and i will also need to cancel this one to. If someone could help i would be most gratefull MERRY XMAS TP MEMEBERS. ;)
 
HI do you know how to remove your post from google
 
You cant, and by loging on again with another username and your real name will just increase your online presence.
 
How about deleting your real name from this account too.

I'm sure if you ask nicely via the 'contact us' options on the forum one of the admins could do the same for your other account too.
 
Thanks i just manage to get my details for paulmac i dont no why my post should be loged on google and yes i have to get rid of the other account now

Not wanting to sound rude, but if you wanted to get your name and details off Google why on earth did you create a new account using your full name?

Other than the fact it's completely bizarre to try and remove yourself from the internet, in fact, near impossible due to archiving etc, I think we should play the guessing game as to why he wants to do it!?

I am guessing its a sex change!

Funny is when checking out from an online game its always met with a bunch of interent crying and "Goodluck in RL mate"
But here is no interent online game :thinking:
maybe wikileaks brought out his name and now he is being searched by FBI or Al Qeada and needs to hide

He's probably getting stalked or abusive phone calls, thats actually fairly common, it can be hard to stop as well.

Agreed - cut the guy some slack - not everyone realises the possible ramifications of using their actual name on the internet, and even if they do, circumstances can develop which makes it undesirable.
 
I really don’t think its a wind up, Paul came to two of my London meets in the last year or so, all the way from Birmingham which is my home town. Seemed like a well nice fella (and his friend who Im gutted not to remember right now)... I really don’t think he’s the type for this type of chriggy wind up, more the sensitive and thoughtful type I thought…so not the type if you get me.

I’m genuinely worried after his last statement.

Whatever's going on with you Paul, I hope you get it sorted.
Once you have an internet presence, it's nigh on impossible to erase all trace of it, but I sincerely wish you all the best.

Guys, go easy on him. I know that "goodbye" threads aren't allowed, but the tone of some of those posts from yesterday is worrying and they don't strike me as someone acting the drama queen.
We don't know what he's dealing with, but it sounds like he has some genuine personal issues with his name being accessible online at the moment.
 
Hi AD and tp members,everyting is fine really, i had a thought of how many sites that i have signed up for over the years,and its usually done when people are board or when they have spare time on there hands,like most people iam working all year round and then forget passwords and user names,so what i have been doing is deleting all my pointless accounts,iam still into my photography as its in my blood.I google my name and a forum about poppy fields came up from this site, and thought i might be able to be remove the post ,do i really want people to know that i talk about poppy fields No NOT REALLY thats all, nothing serious and iam certainly not some kind of mask murderer,or all the other kinds of things you crazy tp members would think of 'how rude' :p.Thats why i had to make a new account in my name as i forgot this account details.Any way now that i been on this site i might keep this one going.Happy New Year :)
 
Posting about your concern for being 'found' and visible on Google caused your opening post, and your name, to hit number two in a Google search. Somewhat counterproductive?
