Recently I wanted to buy a new lens. My friend recommended the brand TTARTISAN to me. I'm not very familiar with it, maybe it is hard for me to overcome the hesitation of purchasing a new brand. I only know that it's a Chinese lens brand. I roughly looked at its official websites and I think the price of TTARTISAN is very reasonable.
I'm particularly interested in their 7.5mm F2 fisheye lens. If anyone has used it, could you share your experience with me? Or are there any other lenses from this brand you would recommend?

I've got the 7mm F2.8 fisheye in Micro 43 mount from (or signed up as - I can't speak to the two brands are they one and the same?).

Honestly in the hand it feels like any manual focus fisheye and for me the price encouraged me to pick one up and have a play. I'm more familiar with Canon full frame kit and adapted M42 mount legacy lenses so the diminutive size of micro four thirds nicely deals with any weight issues from glass in metal bodies.

Have you decided whether you can cope with circular images as opposed to ultra wide angle?

Have a go.

Fisheye lenses, in my experience, are very effective for some types of picture and the kiss of death for others.

I've owned several and I find the "full frame" type generally more useful than the "circle" type but that's really down to personal opinion. here are examples of both types...

I've owned neither but like you prefer the look of the "full frame" type. The circular version definitely has impact but imo is a bit of a one trick pony that I think I'd tire of quite quickly
