Could be improved with some PP work - looks a tad flat so adjusting contrast & vibrance/saturation would help here and would also help to bring out some more detail in the white feathers.

A couple of minutes in Lightroom, doing as mentioned above plus some sharpening, produces:

Working on the full size image and a little more time I feel that you can easily improve on this quick edit.

Just let me know if you want the edit removed.

a good shot made even better with PP, it just goes to show what can be done Mick, and of cause Tom for showing us.

The Swans were very easy to get close to & allowed time to compose & get a clear background.
