Hi all I am new to this site and need some advice.

I am thinking of upgrading my Nikon D3200 to a 7200 (cost limiting) what are your thoughts on the 7200?

Why do you want to upgrade? Is it for IQ? If so you won't see a great deal of difference. If it's for the AF system, better functions, better viewfinder etc etc then yes it's a worthwhile upgrade. The D7200 is a very good camera, capable of being able to capture great shots (in the right hands)

I went from d3100 to d7100. That admittedly brought an extra 10 mp but the biggest benefit was in handling. I still have images on the wall i love from starting with the d3100 but photography became easier when i could concentrate more on the image and less on the technology. You wont notice much improvement in iq on something you have lots of time to set up for but better in hand, quicker to set up, etc and more opportunities.

Then again GAS might be talking

Why? What do you think you'll be able to do with a 7200 that you can't do with your 3200?
