Upgrading from my old D80 to D7100 or D7200 - lens advice please

Hi all
I still have my old trusty D80 but it's time it got upgraded now. I photograph whatever so landscape, still, sports etc, no real preference, but I want to start using a DSLR for video too, ok my iPhone 7Plus can shoot in 4K but the sensor and lens differences are obviously Reliant Robin vs Lexus kind of thing.

I'm looking at the kit with the 18-105mm VR lens for both options (7100 or 7200), I currently have a Sigma DC 18-200mm 1:3.5-6.3 HSM lens, would that work ok on both the 7100 and 7200?

Hi daz,

your Sigma will work fine with the D7100, , should be OK with the D7200 as well but sometimes the newer models will need a lens software update.
