Hello everyone

I was into taking photos on my Canon 450 around ten years ago but have not had the cash to upgrade until now, a cheque coming any day now. I am thinking about upgrading to a Z6 with a Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8s through the mpb.com website. Is this a good combo and a legit website in the U.K.? My main question is, will I need additional lighting? I normally take portraits but would like to take other types of photos.

Thanks
Kevin

A couple of questions:
What lighting did you use previously to achieve your portraits?
Why move to Nikon from Canon, at this point that feels odd?

But sure the Z6 like all other cameras is very usable, and MPB are a great dealer.

What do mean by “need additional lighting “? Flash? It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Compared to the 450D which I own, the Z6 is going to a huge improvement. Having one lens a 50mm whilst for portraits could be limiting if you intend to do other types of photography plus the 50mm will generally give you the same “look” for all your portraits.

The OP hasn’t returned since posting this question, clearly didn’t really need an answer
