Hello. If I go to an old derelict building and take photos and then upload can I get in trouble? I notice a few explorers name there places as "Exploration A" etc and don't reveal the location.

Thanks

strictly speaking yes because you are posting evidence of having trespassed which could be used against you should the owner happen to want to make an issue of it. (tresspas being civil rather than criminal)

However the chances of an owner both being looking here ,and being bothered enough to track down your real name (or get a court order forcing TP to release it) are pretty damn small

might not be a bad idea to upload them to the TP galleries rather than the more widely viewed flikr if you are concerned

I might phone them up. They own a place opposite to the one I photographed. Saying all this I only actually got external shots. All my internal ones were rubbish and I have not worked out yet how to adjust the flash, lol!

Just do it. I've done it for years and never had a problem. There's a lot of shots on my site, and my work has gone in national publications, and nobody has ever so much as passed comment.

Reason why Urban Explorers don't reveal the location is because when we do, they usually go and get wrecked or tagged by idiots.

i think people don't post the locations as there be swamped and ruined, more people that visit with bring more security as well i guess.

Just remove the exif data as well, then it can't be proven what day or time you were there.
