URBAN

Urban landscapes, urban exploration? And that's just scratching the surface of the available genres.

We visit Berlin fairly regularly and I think a day spent exploring a city with your camera is a great part of the holiday. Finding areas not on the regular toursit circuit, or finding a non-touristy angle on the most popular sites and locations.

I'm just about to venture out (well tomorrow) for my first derelict building as part of my urban exploration

Me too! Going in daytime though and doing "the reasonably accessible old train sheds" - Want to do Severalls soon, just need to find someone to go with because I don't fancy it on my own!

I was gonna do Severalls tomorrow, but if you'd like I can postpone and go with you. I'm creating a Google map of derelict buildings and have 11 sites so far

Can't do tomorrow for Severalls, plus wouldn't advise it this week with the kids being off and stuff, next week might be a better bet.

ahhhhh good point, completely forgot they're off school this week lol

Sorry if my post was vague i was looking for urban buildings with character and no people if possible.Ido like your photo artyman shows what street life is like

Unfortunately this place is now knocked down. My mother worked there about 15 years ago too.
