Urgent request please

Hi all

I wonder if anyone can help me please? I took a load of photos with a point and shoot Leica D-Lux 20 camera, the photos in question are at a retriment party in a pub taken in the bar area at night, all the pictures have come out very orange, so Im guessing that the white balance is all wrong, can I put this right in lightroom?? Im desperate to get this right and make them look presentable, I feel so bad about the quality of them, and not sure how this has happened.

The urgency has come as the gentleman in question has been killed in a motorcycle accident this weekend and I just know his widow is going to ask me about the retirment photos at the funeral next week and I so dont want to let her down.

Im sorry to hear about th accident.

Regarding Lightroom, in the develop module if you press "W" on the keyboard, then select something in the image that should be white/mid grey, it will sort the WB out for you.

Yes you can adjust white balance quite simply in lightroom. You can also alter specific colours with the hue/saturation/luminance palette. if nothing else works, consider black and white.

On that thought, perhaps B&W will be more respectful... If you press V while the image is selected, it will switch between volour and B&W.

I agree that black and white might be a good idea on the images. Alternatively, I'm sure the white balance can be adjusted in Lightroom.

Try adjusting the temperature also, bring the temps down to make it more blue/natural
