A quick question...
I may have a rather exclusive opportunity to visit the Strata building that's nearing completion at Elephant & Castle, that's probably become quite familiar to most people in south London over the last year or so.
A guided tour as a guest of the developers.
I'm a bit of an architecture enthusiast - I did a degree Architecture in many years ago. Strata is one of the more interesting projects going on in London at the moment - it is the tallest residential building in the city - and on a more personal note I used to do some freelance work for the architects, so I'm very interested in it. It's also only about a ten minute bike ride from where I work, which is damn convenient.
However, one of the conditions set out is that 'Any photos you publish or print can be used freely by our hosts', which leaves things a little vague from the strictly legal point of view and rather too close to the rights grab terms of many competitions that I wouldn't care to enter.
I'm tempted to say 'sod it', go for the experience and hang the consequences. What do you reckon?
