UWA FF - what are my options ?

just before I decide to go ef-s 10-22, I'm wondering what my options are for EF for FF and 35mm film.

I dont want to spend on a crop lens until I'm sure :)
 
Probably the Sigma 15-30 and the Sigma 12-24.

I don't think 16mm+ is ultra wide even on FF so that would rule out the 16-35 for me.

PS: I have no idea about Canon stuff!
 
Well 10mm equates to 16mm and 22mm to 35mm on Canon crop bodies [1D excepted] so the 16-35 is the equivalent lens for FF.

I've always thought that anything shorter then the short side of the sensor was thought of as ultra wide. So 24 mm on FF and 16mm on crop format?

If your pockets are very deep I hear the Canon 14mm II is worth looking at:)
 
Sigma 12-24 is worth a look for the money and is super wide if you go full frame.
