Venus 60mm f/2.8 Ultra-Macro Lens. World's first 2:1 Macro with Infinity focus

Looks like an amazing bit of kit:)
Saves missing about with tubes
have a look in the macro section
Kurt has been using it and getting wonderful results

It's an interesting construction that seems to move the rear group to increase magnification (unlike the MP-E65 which extends the front group). This effectively means that the size of the image circle will decrease as the magnification decreases and, as a result, won't cover a full frame sensor when focused further away.

I'll go and have a look, thanks.

I noticed the bit about full frame / infinity.

I did see some full frame infinity shots and you can see the darkness of that black rectangle creeping into frame.

I wonder what it would be like on 1.3 crop.

I did have an MP-E65 ages ago (borrowed from Bawbee on this forum) but I found it to specialised so ended up getting the Canon 100 L Macro instead. In the end I sold that as I couldn't justify the little amount of use it was getting.
