hi just got my new sony a 450 its amazing, i had a a200 but i had a few problems although got things sorted< i have a brand new a450 and its amazingly quicker although not quite as good in hand a few more features so cant wait to get out there and try it
love to here your thoughts on the above and weather anyone has got a cheepo vertical grip !!

Anyway now i have spent all my money i want a vertical grip VG-B50AM Sony however i have seen some on copies on fleebay is it worth the gamble as i cant afford a Sony won just yet ??

couldnt you sell your a200 to fund for a grip?

oh and a cheap but decent third party one ive noticed is the hahnel grips and these seem brilliant quality. try to get a grip with a scroll wheel so you can change aperture/shutter while in portrait mode.
 
The grips by Link Direct are usually "Meike" brand and very good - ask them its its "Meike" - avoid anything with lcd screens or timers, these are always tat without exception.

The one for the Sony A900 seems to be identical to the official version apart from its missing an orange Alpha logo on it.
 
hey guys.....does the VG-B50AM actually fit the sony a450. been looking at this for my sony. i have seen one on ebay but i dont want to order one from china. when i looked further i found the VG-B50AM from the uk but it says for the A500 & A550.

anyone know
