Video recorded tp digital

Is it possible to convert old Sony cam corder to digital ? I only have half dozen to convert so don’t want to spend aload of money on something for couple time use. Any ideas ?

Any number of shops and other companies would do this for you as a service. It is likely they would have more control over tracking and tape speed than you would get hooking a consumer player to a pc or similar.

I can't recall the name of the company we used when I was in retail but Mr Scan is worth checking out. Generally if a shop says they do it themselves I'd think twice but if they "send them away" it's likely going to a place with pro kit.

I used to have an analogue to digital converter on my PC many years ago when I recorded analogue video but got rid of that years ago. Maybe you can find one on eBay.

It looks o be the right sort of device but you must check for yourself. It is not that expensive anyway.
