Views over Manchester

Hi all

I'm just curious if any of you know of any moderately busy roads in the peak district with a view over the city centre? I'm wanting to do some night photography tomorrow night and would love a backdrop of the city lit up.

Manchester at night is awfully lit in yellow for most parts.
I've not explored all the areas at night but here are a few..

1) Portland street looking towards ramada hotel.
2) The ferris wheel with your back facing the cathedral.
3) Oxford road near the oxford road rail station. The canal beside Sainsburys/Felicini leading to salford quays has some decent sights too.
4) Arndale shopping centre rooftop. Gets you the view of the ferris wheel, printworks and shudehill interchange.
5) Castlefield near castle street. Bars, boats and the tram tracks.
