Hey

While cleaning out my grandads house we came across a very old camera. We found out he had this during the war I took a couple of pics...

the text written on it says

No. 2a folding cartridge hawk-eye model b Eastman Kodak company.

Mum thinks its one of the kodak originals. anyone know if its worth anything? I have no idea if it still works or not, but its been kept in its case for over 70 years

I collect old cameras like this, and I'm sorry to disappoint you but these can be had for as low as £3 at a car boot sale!
A bit more if in a case etc, but even then not by much.
No early retirement for you!!

Not worth much, but worth giving a test. It takes 116 film which is no longer available, but you can adapt it by using a bit of rawlplug for 120 film which is still readily available (link).

dammit. I always expected to have the only fools and horses dilemma of living a poor life not knowing i was sitting on a goldmine all this time
