Vista and Pens - circles - help

With my new laptop I have Vista and and am trying to get it to play nicely with me and my programmes. I have sorted out most things but one is driving me mad.

I have a Wacom tablet and pen and everytime I hold it stillish for more than the smallest fraction of a second a circle appears round it - such as when trying to move the sliders in Lightroom !!

I have managed to get rid of the tab tips icon that kept appearing but can find no way of preventing this wretched circle (I have unticked all the boxes in Tablet PC options that I can find)

If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful.

You have installed any needed drivers and the tablet in question is Vista compatible?

PsiFox is right. You need the Vista drivers for the tablet.They are available for download at the Wacom site

Yes, I have those. It is the windows part of it that is causing the problem but I have managed to fix it - generally happens when I ask for help. Unticking all the boxes for the circles did not help so - I ticked them all, clicked apply and switched machine off. Switched machine on and unticked them all, clicked apply, switched machine off. This seems to have fixed whatever was causing it (until I restart anyway).

Run a restore point to save those settings, just in case. Oh the joys of Vista

Good idea - I forgot about that - I have been setting one nearly everytime I get something working how I want it and then find there is something else that has a mind of its own :bang:
