Yes
Following on from the Thomas Heaton thread do people think it might be helpful to put a thread with links to landscape photographer's vlogs to make it easier to search ?

I would suggest that no extended discussion of whether people like or dislike should appear but any comments on the style be allowed and possibly could even be a sticky?

What do you think ?

Sound good to me

Loving watching them on days when I can't get out

Good idea, it will sort the wheat from the chaff. There's a few really good ones but lots of terrible ones as well.

I'm not really a landscape photographer, but I quite like E6 Vlogs. It's not all landscape stuff though - there are also vlogs on street photography and architecture in there. I like them in the same way I like Thomas Heaton's stuff. They're enjoyable to watch, but they're not really tutorials or anything.

Yes, I also like the e6vlog's

He just seems like a nice normal guy and takes it at a lovely leisurely pace.

Some good links here.:)

I've been quite taken with Ben Horne's style of blog:

Full frame, very relaxing, it amazes me how he will set up and wait several hours in 1 spot waiting to take an exposure. Or leave his camera out overnight in readiness to return the next morning for sunrise.

I really enjoyed Simon Baxter's vids but so far only two, it must take an incredible amount of dedication to keep putting these out each couple of weeks.

Funny you mention Simon. New video went live tonight.

Just discovered a guy called Paul Johnson. Very down to earth guy from Huddersfield with a very easy going type of patter with some pretty funny moments. Learnt a lot in the last few days from him.

I've come across his videos and subscribed to his channel just this week. Not quite as polished as someone like Thomas Heaton's stuff, but down to earth and enjoyable nontheless. I like them.

It's also nice to follow someone from the same part of the country as it means that the locations he uses are within easy reach should I decide to visit them myself.

I've also just discovered Paul's channel. Definitely not a polished but very enjoyable and my home area, writing down locations for when I get to go home!

Will check it out later tonight.

Unfortunately yes. My first one. It turns out that it's a lot harder than it looks. I'm not a blogger yet as you can tell. Learning process for me for sure.
You done really well though and Yeah I know what you mean , I'm on my 5th and still crap

Been to Lyme Regis many a time but never done the early morning shot
Just watched your video and you have persuaded me to set my alarm[emoji23]

Another to add to the mix is Nigel Danson. A nice relaxed approach to his work.

A few I am currently subscribed to are...Photo Escapes, Joe Allam, Thomas Heaton, Mike Browne, The Art of Photography!

PixImperfect, he comes across as a bit condescending perhaps at times, but explains techniques very well.

Taken the giant leap and made a couple myself last week whilst away in South West Scotland. Very scary at first but really got in to it and enjoyed it more and more as the week went on.

Links are here if you want to watch etc which would be much appreciated

Need to buy a mic as it is a little noisy when its windy but it improves as it goes along

Well in Tony.

Many thanks and thank you for subscribing and commenting. Looking forward to getting out again and doing another.
