Vodafone unlocks iPhones for free, even when within contract

O2 do the same thing too.
 
O2 was doing it for ages and if you are still within your contract you have to pay.

Vodafone started not long ago and it is free regardless of the time you still have to complete the contract.

Thought people might want to know as I have been trying to unlock mine for ages and I could not.
 
How did you do that? Apple isn't on the list of Phone makes
 

Ahaa! Thanks, you see I rang them a few months back and they said they wont do the iPhone 4 till July for some reason. I only needed it doing for holiday the liars!
 
Oh *****! I sold mine on vodafone,at a loss of about £50 to get a sim free one last month! arggg!

It was free when I did mine, I was still in contract. You had to pay if your were on PAYG.

I unlocked my O2 iphone 4 on release date by there online form. Just entered contract details on day of upgrade as its over 12 months it was free :)
