I am looking at getting up to wales and trying to photograph some of the raf planes, any body else no any hotspots or where i can find places? Also if any body wants to show me i will repay my grattitude :-)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Roger, will do this when i get home, i must be a tard to not be able to find it.... need a road trip soon, found it on my phone, thanks for that :-)

You'd often see them flying below your altitude when ascending Tryfan in Snowdonia (not sure if thats too much of a climb for you).
Google maps
Once saw a handglider flying at a higher altitude than a RAF jet (the jet seemed to fly some distance beneath the handglider).

The Jets follow the valley, can't recall in which direction i.e. coming down from the direction of Anglesey from the north, turning east, or vice versa - which may mean that you prefet to climb up the Garn (also difficult to judge how high you want to climb, as they do fly pretty low there).

And hey, if you do have an accident, it may be Prince William rescuing you!

Doubt it, isn't he in the Falklands?

Lake vrywny is good

Had to console a toddler there last summer after a low flyby by something fast and VERY noisy, its also an all round great photo spot too, with its old gothic pumping station.

Since when, I don't recall it ever being remotely interesting for jet photography when I lived there

There have been a few reports of some low-level sorties going over Vyrnwy recently Alan. I'm not sure how regular or how low they are though.
