My thoughts exactly... with a bit of 'equine Lassie' thrown into the mix.war film - saving Private Ryan

I went to see it with a couple of Geordies who were gutted it wasnt actually about their horse.

My thoughts exactly. I'm often quite emotional about this sort of thing (ex soldier, animal lover etc. all the right buttons) but I have to say I stayed totally dry eyed.war film - saving Private Ryan

I heard that she was worried about possible confusion between her and theWasn't there some confusion over Camilla attending the premiere?
I heard that she was worried about possible confusion between her and thehorsestar of the film.
What a load of rubbish though - hardly any of the requisitioned horses actually came back, those that weren't killed in action ended up as meat ration.

.... Not plannong to see the film as I'm going to see it at the theatre end of March, the animation of the horses on stage looks amazing
Having seen the stage production of War Horse, I'm not going anywhere near the film. It won't be anywhere close, and I'd bet the mortgage on that.
Hmmm thinking now, we may have to visit the smoke to go and see..........
):Last thing we went to see in the West End was Lion King. That was bloody brilliant. Been reading up on the reviews of Warhorse (theatre) and yep I think that could be a go-er.......

It's brilliant it really is. After 5 minutes you completely forget the horses are puppets
Well worth a trip.
Sold then. But be warned. If I am not enthralled will be a bit of a :razz::razz: going on!!!!![]()

And when you've seen that, see this: http://www.matildathemusical.com/news-reviews/reviews/. It's an absolute gem.
I don't generally do musicals.
