Cheers. I always swing on mine to make sure it does'nt come loose. In future, I wont!
 
For the money, this design is waaay too flimsy - poor show by Canon on this one.

Maybe a gesture of good faith would be a free fix from Canon - but looking at the pics, I guess that boat has sailed !!

Like the last poster, I opted for the Photix too.

So there is a quick release button/switch inside the battery compartment of the grip that when pressed will release the grip from the body.

send in to blue peter (is that program still running?) with some sticky tape, carboard cereal boxes and some blu tac it will be as good as new
