The single layer nylon are cheap enough.
They helped my lens survive this years Knockhill BSB.
Camera and lens are covered, with draw string at the camera end too.
I would imagine the said tripod mount access can be a section of velcro tab or zipper leading to a 'hole' for pod's column? Can't imagine it would be more complicate than that?
