Web Hosting

I'm thinking of switching web hosting companies and it's been a few years since I had a scout around so before I do can you kind folks recommend any to get me started ?

I need PHP, MySQL, email & sub domains, I don't need masses of web space or bandwith really.

www.synergyworks.co.uk have been very good for me. Drop them an e-mail, Rob's a top bloke.
Previous to this I used a company called www.hosting-unlimited.co.uk who were pretty cheap, but being based in the US their service was a little slow at times.

http://www.hostgator.com/ are supposed to be very good, I personally use www.jaguarpc.com , both are U.S. based and far cheaper than anything I've found this side of the pond.

I use www.z-host.com

I got a .com domain name, plus 100mb storage, 2gb monthly bandwidth, PHP/SQL, subdomains, POP3/IMAP email, cPanel, web stats etc. £19/year.

I use catalyst2 for my personal website....250 meg space, 1 gig/mo transfer, for 14 quid a year.

All I need at the moment though of course.
