Website ideas.. opinions needed

Idea 1 or 2?

I'm leaning towards Idea 1 but I decided that getting a wide range of opinions would make good business sense.

I'd go for a mix of the two. The immediate visual impact of the first but taking the idea of the menu placement from the second.

no.1 s better. the no.2's navigation bar looks so lame, not professional.

no.1 needs to be tweaked, it has the scroll down which is a disadvantage. look at no.2, no scroll down, do that for no.1 = result!

Well, I have to admit it wasn't that much of a stretch of the imagination as it's a similar layout to my 'default' design starting point.

I have to say I love that photo in the middle. Almost looks like it could be 3D.

Other may disagree, but I don't think the 'impact' image is an absolute must have. Maybe a just cropped version, of the laser lights, making a banner at the top of page.

Definitely No.1 for me. Just wondering but are you going to make the site centred and scalable allow for different people's resolutions?
