Takes time mate for the google bots to pick up the site when doing the rounds. Give it a few weeks to see if it improves

Page ranking in google is both simple, and tough. Google SEO (search engine optimisation) and you can read for hours.

Google catagorise on various things. They don't much care what you have in your meta tags. They rank based on the content (ie, look for keywords), but probably more importantly they look for links to your site. If your site is linked to by 500,000 other websites it could be a blank page and it would still get top ranked for some search terms.

Frequency of update helps, but is not essential. It's a complicated issue, but as I say have a look into SEO and you will get a basic understanding inside 10 mins.

Have a search on here (or on Google) for SEO, there's loads of info.

My top tip though is to read and act on the information in the Google SEO PDF.
