Home:
Instantly impressed. The layout is clean and simple and the style of the site is very professional. I like both the font and the colours you've used for the menu and it's spaced out nicely. I was expecting some form of branding for the site in terms of a logo or site banner, but you've got the basic feel of the site just right.
First major problem is the massive expanse of black space to the right of the page. I'm going to assume this is reserved space for a selection of images to be displayed? Second problem is the text to the left of the page. It's too small and it doesn't read very well. The first paragraph has a couple of grammatical and spelling mistakes and the second just doesn't need to be included. I can understand why you've included it but people would expect that anyway and those that don't wouldn't understand what you were trying to tell them.
EDIT: I like the rotating images and both the display duration and transition are fine. The only problem is that the photos in landscape format don't align to the top of the page so you get this great big bag that looks odd. Can this be altered at all?
Gallery:
I like the sub-menu appearing with the various categories and again I really like the layout of the whole thing. I'm not hugely keen on the text to the left and I'm also not keen on the categories on the right not starting with capital letters. I'd probably prefer these to be in the same font as the menu bar.
And with regards to the categories themselves, they don't appear to be in any sort of order or alignment. I'd like to see these in letter order and with a little thumbnail picture on each to show me an example of what's to be found within.
Each gallery is nicely done, but I can't really comment as there doesn't actually appear to be any photographs on the site. I'll reserve judgement until there is some content, but I'll assume it will be as well done as the rest of the site.
EDIT: Now it starts to make sense and the ordering works much better. I'd still prefer to see equally-sized thumbnails though.
Links:
I'm not a fan of having links on your own personal website. I can appreciate you wanting to be friendly but don't give people an excuse to leave your site. They might never come back. And if you must keep this page as it is, there's a few grammatical and spelling errors that need tidying up.
Contact Us:
As there only appears to be one of you, I'd suggest changing that to 'Contact Me' as you even go on to say 'do not hesitate to get in touch with me' in the text on the page. The contact form is well done, well laid out and a valuable addition. I hate having to open my own email client.
But get rid of the 'Don't worry I don't bite!!' section as it just lacks professionalism and seems so out of place for a site this stylish and otherwise professional.
Prints & Equipment:
The text is slightly too small here but that's not the problem for me. The problem is what you've written. Some of it is fine, although possibly worth rewording slightly, but some of it is pointless. Potential customers won't know what a Huey is nor will they care. Nor will they care what equipment you use. They just want to know that you're going to provide them a first-class service.
All prints that are ordered off my site are sent away to a professional printing lab to ensure the highest quality possible. The final prints are then returned to me so I can check that the image has been printed properly. After I'm happy with the print, it is send directly to you first class. The turn around for this system should be between 5 and 10 days, possibly quicker.
The meaning behind this is fine but the wording needs looking at. I like the idea of you providing a professional service but it's also worth keeping a few secrets from your customers. I'd expand on what you've got here and really highlight just how high-quality your service is and what lengths you'll go to in ensuring your clients get the best possible service.
Services:
What you've written here is great but it could be improved upon. I'd look to highlight your client list, however small, and really emphasise what you're capable of providing as a service. Maybe even go so far as to highlight all the steps you'll take to ensure your client has the best possible service from you?
I'd also like to see the 'contact me' section of the text linking to the Contact page, with the same true for anywhere else those words appear.
About me:
I'll assume the two question marks are unintentional here. If not they need to go. They're out of character for the site and don't actually make any sense when included in the context that they are. Again your text is too small, but that's a site-wide thing and easily solved. The content of the page itself is okay but some of it is too friendly and won't be understood by the majority of people (namely the 'Tog' bit) and the rest needs beefing up. If you want to highlight the fact you are still technically 'learning' the trade then you need to play up on all those plus points in the text; the jobs you've done, the clients you've had, etc.
Overall:
Very impressive stuff. Was this paid for or is James a friend of yours? Either way it's a very accomplished design and looks the part. I've seen plenty of so-called professionals websites that would look decidedly amateurish next to this.
If you do nothing else other than actually add some photographs, you need to sort out the issues with the font sizing on all the pages. While you're doing that I'd also double and triple-check your spelling and grammar.
I'd also like to see some branding for the site in the form of a banner or logo and some other neat little touches here and there. At the moment it feels like an empty shell that could almost be for anything or anyone. But even as it stands it's a damn fine site and should serve you and your business very well.
