Wedding - possible second shooter opportunity

Hi

Firstly let me say this is currently only a speculative thought, but here goes.

I usually shoot weddings with 2 togs, but I have a very small wedding in June (in Essex) where the bride only wants 2-3 hours of photography, so I am currently only going to do this on my own.

I did think however that there might be an Essex based TP'er who might like to tag along as a 2nd shooter, with the consequent safety of knowing that the pics aren't critical and anything you get will be a bonus for the bride.

I haven't discussed this with the bride yet, but wondered if anyone would like a go?

There is also the possibility of looking for an additional stand-by 2nd shooter for the future if we get on, but can I emphasise that this is a freeby opportunity for a TP'er and not me trying to get a second shooter for free!!!
 
If you were in Sussex I would have snapped you up on the offer!!

Very generous, im sure someone will gladly accept it!
 
I'm very interested, but I suppose it's subject to the bride's approval!

Could you give more details on the date? I've got quite a lot on in June, but would really like the opportunity. Also, whereabouts in Essex? Cheers :thumbs:

I'd love to give it a shot and get some tips from a professional. I'm in Essex, but it all depends on the day. So, assuming the bride's willing, Chris can't make it, I'm free and no semi-pros want to take part, we're good... ::thinking:
 
I'd love to come along, if only it was anyway near Manchester. I'm sure there will be plenty of interest.
 
I do 2nd shooting free of charge. I do it for the passion and enjoyment (and to gain more experience). I am based in Suffolk but willing to travel across East Anglia.

I use L lenses and a Canon 5DII and have PW's and a couple of Canon speedlites. My back-up camera is a 20D :nuts:

I'm surprised there aren't any more takers for this given the wedding threads on TP

But I'll get on to the bride and get her ok and then get back to you guys and let you know the details

Don't want to give more away yet since she might not like her wedding details being announced to all and sundry!
