Can't do much more I have offered twice to help, he did say that if he was a way from a computer he would e mail it to me to post but I have had nothing through.:shrug:

Is it really going to hurt you that much to wait another day?

I'm sure Simon has a life outside of TP and the 52 that he is currently enjoying. Well I hope that is the reason and nothing untoward or horrible has happened to stop him posting your theme yet.

It has been going on and on, getting later and later each week, 2 weeks ago the feeble excuse was at approx (10.30am on a bank hol Monday) ..."oops, sorry got myself a new "bird", forgot what day it was.........

Yes, anyone, any and everyone can have something that "crops up" " out of the blue" which means things take a back seat, however it seems quite regular on this years 52

Briony has offered to help out if Simon cannot post but it seems all offers of help have been declined............

Therefore I say, Go for it Nicki!, pull one out of the bag.............lets hope its a good one...

The week's theme has been posted. :D

Every theme bar one in the 20 we've had over the year has been posted on for before 23:59 on Sunday, given the week starts on Monday I fail to see what the problem is :rules:. I appreciate that people are keen to get thinking about the theme but whatever time/day I say I'll post some people won't be happy if it isn't announced earlier :shrug:

Ultimately, you don't pay to take part so if you don't like it don't do it :p

P.S. Not that I need to give a reason but this weekend I've been working and only got back home at 21:00 when I had to unload the car and take my staff back to their home before I could unpack the laptop and announce the theme.

Well good on you fella to pick a ticket out of the bag, and yes, the 52 is just a bit of fun, but I am sure most would be happy if it was up by say 8 or 9 on a sunday night..........

I appreciate things go on but repeatedly Briony (nicky) who doesn't have staff, and doesn't have things to do on a sun night, has repeatedly offered to help out, but to no avail............

I actually DO have staff that work for us ! and yes I work on a week end also and can appreciated how hard this is.

I myself did not get back in the door last night till 10 p.m. after being stuck in the London traffice (god, I don't know how people do that day in day out) and I came on to see if the theme was there, because I thought Simon may have e mailed me, hence I started this post because I never seem to see it when it is first posted, must be looking in the wrong place. :thinking:

The understanding was that if Simon was away from a computer for the week end and could not get near a computer in the Sunday then he would e mail the theme to me, so I could post it.

This offer stilll stands but as he says he was obviously working and COULD post the theme before midnight..

I am sure if he could not have then I would have had it then posted it for us. :thumbs:

I work most week ends which really only gives me time in the week (unless I am working on the farm) to shoot.

I can see this from both sides and yes, the offer is there, Simon, if you get a late night again, draw it on a Sat and send it over to me and I can post it Sunday for you, one less thing for you to worry about on a Sunday night, then you can have your supper in peace, (Sunday dinner what is that :shrug:)

Don't forget also when we are on holiday we will always have some catch up to do so there should be no shortage of a theme.

Also, what I have thought is that if I get some time I will look at the list and one of the themes should pop up sometime, so you have your shot in the library and are ahead. :naughty:

Well I can vouch for how busy Simon has been this weekend. He was doing the photography for Northern SBT Rescue's Big Weekend. Dog Show on the Saturday and Sponsored Walk on the Sunday.

He was running around like an idiot for both days and yet again he has done us proud.

This is I think the third year he has now put himself out for us and I know that all our members are looking forward to him coming back next year. Simon its the weekend of 14 & 15th May 2011. We've booked already!! Please give a big thank you to your staff member as well, hopefully they will be able to help next year too.:clap:

The event went very well thanks. I am totally shattered and I'm sure Simon is equally so. Numbers were slightly down on last year so we had around 80 Staffords walking on the Sunday which still makes quite an impressive sight.
